Standard Air Rates
Rates are billed per chargeable kilogram. Normal cargo includes general merchandise, clothing, and electronics. Special cargo includes fragile, hazmat, oversized, or high-value items.

The Volumetric Weight Rule
Airlines charge based on the space cargo occupies or its actual weight — whichever is greater. We convert volume (CBM) to volumetric weight using the international IATA standard conversion factor: **1 CBM = 167 kg**.
Conversion Formula:
Volumetric Weight (kg) = Total CBM × 167
Chargeable Weight = Maximum of (Actual Weight in kg, Volumetric Weight in kg)
Total Cost = Chargeable Weight × Rate per kg
Example Calculation:
If you ship a box of pillows weighing 10 kg with dimensions that calculate to 0.2 CBM:
Volumetric Weight = 0.2 × 167 = 33.4 kg.
Since 33.4 kg is greater than 10 kg, the chargeable weight is **33.4 kg**. Billed at $4.50/kg, the cost is $150.30.
